Today, I would like to announce two new releases to be published in the coming months.
Though I have been working away in the shadows for the past couple years, I am now ready to reveal what lies on the horizon for the Cryp'lar Series!
The first release is a revised and updated second edition of The Stars of Aspiria. This release has new cover art (see the featured image of this post), a new map insert of Human Space, and more expansive edits for a more polished and definitive edition of the story. While I will have a separate blog post detailing why now is the right time to revisit The Stars of Aspiria, suffice it to say that fans of the series deserve the best and most complete version of Book One, before driving into its sequel.
This brings me to the second of the two new releases, which is none other than Invasion of the Cryp'lar. As this next part of the story endures the final few rounds of editing, I endeavour to present the first edition of Book Two to the same standard as the upcoming second edition of Book One. This means I have made the decision to postpone the release until (early, hopefully) 2026.
However, for those interested in getting back up to speed with the story so far, and seeing what else The Stars of Aspiria has to offer, the second edition is now available for preorder on Amazon Kindle here, and shall be coming to paperback on all marketplaces on December 15th, 2025! The perfect holiday gift for anyone looking to start the series.

I have to give credit to Tom Edwards of TomEdwardsDesign.com for his incredible work on the cover (see above). The Cryp'lar Series shall continue with this visual style and professional quality for the remaining four books. I hope you are all as excited to read this new edition as I am in finally delivering The Stars of Aspiria as originally intended. While there have been minor narrative changes, I promise that the adventures of Ruwan and all your favourite characters have remained intact.
Make sure to sign up to the newsletter if you haven't already for further updates on Book Two, and look out for additional blog posts here in the coming months.
See you on Wolfbane!
Cheers,
Ollie
